About us

A company on paper.
Four Crispaholics in real life.

Eat Crisps® is officially a limited company, but there’s no head office and no boardroom. Just four friends in the UK who love crisps a little too much, and who built the app as a hobby alongside their full-time jobs.

Our story

We’re Crispaholics Anonymous.

Eat Crisps® may be a registered company, but it isn’t run by a snack giant or a marketing agency. It’s four friends who have spent far too many evenings arguing about which crisp is best. Eventually someone said “there should be an app for this”. There wasn’t one, so we built it.

We all have full-time jobs, so Eat Crisps happens in the gaps: evenings, weekends, lunch breaks, and the occasional “quick look” at the code that turns into midnight. Every scan, review and leaderboard climb is something we use ourselves. We’re Crispaholics too.

No investors, no ads in your feed, no fake ratings. Just honest opinions from people who care about crisps as much as you do.

Meet the Crispaholics

The faces behind the app. Sort of.

We’d rather let the crisps do the talking, so here’s each of us as the crisp we most resemble.

Salt & Vinegar

Craig

Co-founder · Head Crispaholic

Sets the vision and gets things done. Craig took Eat Crisps from a “wouldn’t it be good if…” chat to a live app on iOS and Android, from concept to market. Usually found shipping an update after the day job, with a bag open beside the keyboard.

Cheese & Onion

Ben

Co-founder · Business & Marketing

Looks after business strategy, finance and marketing, and keeps Eat Crisps growing like a proper business while it stays a labour of love. Believes every crisp deserves a fair review, and every review deserves a spreadsheet.

Prawn Cocktail

Kara

Social Media & Content

A teacher by day and an energetic content creator by night. Kara is the voice behind our Instagram, turning every new flavour into something worth sharing. She has mastered photographing a crisp before eating it.

Smoky BBQ

Lora

Crisp Researcher

A skilled craft expert and full-time mum. Lora is our resident Crisp Researcher: first to spot a limited edition, and the one with the sharpest eye for flavour notes.

The fine print

What goes into the team behind Eat Crisps.

We put the app’s ingredients on the back of the packet, so it’s only fair we do the same for ourselves.
